Cole's Happy Day

Cole has been requesting to sing "Happy Day" for several nights now...it's too cute. Often, he will even request the name we should sing with it.

His birthday party on Saturday was so much fun. Even though many of our friends/family were out of town, we had a great time. We set up carnival games in the front driveway and Aunt Sarah even did a little sidewalk chalk graffiti for us. I think that Nana has a secret life as a carnie, as she REALLY got into it! :0) The kids enjoyed the "fishing game", face painting, balloon animals (by my uber-talented husband), bean bag toss, ring toss and the "spray-away" game (they had to shoot ping pong balls off golf tees with a water gun). We then went inside for good old carnival food like hot dogs, frito pies, popcorn and lemonade. When it came time to blow out the candles, Cole knew exactly what to do! Thanks to everyone that helped celebrate Cole's special day. (And happy belated *25th-again* birthday to my cousin, Jan, who shares her day with Cole.)

Evidently Blogger is being poopy right now and I can't add pictures...will try something else in a second...
