My little men transformed into Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and made it up and down two streets of our neighborhood this year. They had sooo much fun and Cole even managed to wear his entire costume for half of the excursion. By street two, I was holding the mask and, five houses later, I was carrying the arm piece, too. Hope y'all had a wonderful Halloween!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ovfP-cSdeqM/Su2xHEe3qSI/AAAAAAAAANA/XNgMOX-BIWo/s320/100_4829.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399166263307512098" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ovfP-cSdeqM/Su2xIpXddlI/AAAAAAAAANY/thVqIVVlca4/s320/100_4844.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399166290388416082" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ovfP-cSdeqM/Su2xIMmCxoI/AAAAAAAAANQ/GIijR1a90po/s320/100_4842.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399166282664953474" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ovfP-cSdeqM/Su2xHs1NvcI/AAAAAAAAANI/a9gFA_9_XA0/s320/100_4840.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399166274138652098" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ovfP-cSdeqM/Su2xJI3eY9I/AAAAAAAAANg/D21MGOZkKOI/s320/100_4845.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399166298844193746" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-72168455102957839492009-10-29T19:21:00.003-05:002009-10-29T19:24:25.974-05:00Mas......as in "more"....blocks. GREAT. We are off to the doctor later today...

Anyway, after I posted pictures of the blocks I made for Baby Micah, my Facebook inbox blew up with questions about them. Right now, I'm sitting at 6 orders for blocks... Social networking can be a wonderful thing, huh? I just finished up my first order last night. They are for an adorable 5-year-old girl named Lori that loves Hannah Montana. I had to give myself an intensive Google-infused lesson on Hannah Montana, since she's not really present at our house. I absolutely LOVE what the finished product looks like...the glitter, the bling, the sparkle...what's not to love? Even my husband admitted how "cute" they were (you didn't hear that from me). So...here are all six bedazzled sides...

Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-17275150647515192512009-10-11T16:29:00.005-05:002009-10-11T16:42:36.001-05:00My new favorite baby shower gift(s)

One of my best friends had her baby shower recently. I'm so crazy excited to meet this new little man!!! I bought Nancy a fun, funky diaper bag from my favorite bag maker, Kelci. (She's moving, so her etsy site is on hold for right now, but you should totally go buy some stuff from her...she even named one of her purse styles after ME!) I stuffed the bag full of all sorts of goodies, but my new favorite is one I made...little wooden blocks I altered to match Baby Micah's green and brown monkey room! I'm ordering some more blocks soon and hope to add some to my etsy shop soon!

Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-29420648642700532122009-10-10T11:10:00.004-05:002009-10-10T18:19:43.620-05:00EntrepreneurYeah, yeah...it's been forever. BUT! I wanted to share my new Etsy shop with everyone! Take a peek: krgDesigns on EtsyKristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-48224418270538439442009-08-19T18:09:00.003-05:002009-08-19T18:36:19.622-05:00Not exactly "Careful Caleb"...As a last ditch effort to get some fun in before our summer was officially over, we took a quick trip to New Braunfels to visit "The Original" Schlitterbahn. Chris' mom ("MeeMaw") drove up and had fun with us. We stayed at the resort at Schlitterbahn that overlooks the Comal River. As we floated the river Sunday night, we got to see the "Skycoaster" and the crazies being dropped 180 feet...definitely NOT my cup of tea. Here's how the conversation went...

Caleb: "I want to do that!"
Me: "Ummm...."
MeeMaw: "I'll do it! I do it every year! But it's the last thing I do before I leave the park."
Caleb: "Maybe I'll do it with you...AND I'll even pull the cord!"
Chris: "We'll look into it tomorrow."
Me: "Ummmm...."

Fast-forward to Monday afternoon. My kids were sun-kissed and maybe even a little water-logged from the fun of the day. MeeMaw decided that it was time for the "Screaming Skycoaster". As we approached the desk, Caleb said, "I'm not sure I want to go right now. Maybe later..."

That's my boy. Careful Caleb.

Chris and MeeMaw quickly chimed in that they were going NOW and this would be his only opportunity. Careful Caleb evidently got a little carefree. He was tall enough, so he decided to try it out. And, yes, he even pulled the cord. If I could figure out how to download the video we bought, I would post it here. You would hear the onlookers in awe of the "little boy" that was going up 180 feet into the air. You would hear Cole yelling, "Go Ca-leb!". And you would hear me in all of my country-accent glory yelling, "Woooooo Hoooooo!" (at least it wasn't "Yeee Haaaw!", right?) Alas, I can't get it to work, so you can make some sound effects as you scroll down through these pictures. It was only after they landed that I asked myself what exactly I was thinking when I let my 6 year old do that...

And we just thought he was brave doing the Boogie Bahn....
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SoyK1kDhSKI/AAAAAAAABxE/W-1xNk1MuCY/s400/100_4429.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371821108362299554" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SoyK2H6SIRI/AAAAAAAABxM/KLDN_XmW09g/s400/100_4433.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371821117987234066" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SoyK25viJ6I/AAAAAAAABxU/oBre7D1w7hA/s400/100_4436.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371821131363919778" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SoyK3cU_82I/AAAAAAAABxc/R-hMubtkxB4/s400/100_4437.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371821140647867234" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SoyK3484fGI/AAAAAAAABxk/GKnQ6qYH-2I/s400/100_4448.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371821148331342946" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-71047269100685714422009-08-06T18:11:00.007-05:002009-08-06T18:32:09.644-05:00More Summertime FunA few more random pictures from our fun this summer...

Snow Cones (delicious!) I think it's utterly fabulous that our little hometown snowcone stand is on the main "drag" through town and in the middle of a shopping center parking lot...which happens to be across the street from a cemetary. Really evokes the tropical feeling. Good thing the snowcones are so yummy! ;)
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SntkI_73f7I/AAAAAAAABvU/A5ciMneHzTM/s400/100_3918.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366993486706343858" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SntkImY-uXI/AAAAAAAABvM/jqPkmR5IVig/s400/100_3915.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366993479849130354" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SntkIWghkgI/AAAAAAAABvE/qcqFZv-0Xz4/s400/100_3916.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366993475585806850" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SntkH-TZv8I/AAAAAAAABu8/QRuX1_cq6l4/s400/100_3917.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5366993469088317378" />

Cousin Fun Day at Space Center Houston (did I post these pics before?) with JR, Kyle and Reed. LOL! I guess we're even then, her kids look at our scrapbooks while my kids read Jan's blogs and wish they could travel the world like the Ingersoll boys...too funny! ;)

Anyway, I've yet to take pictures of most of the stuff, but here are a few recent things (glad to have that "scrappin' mojo" back!) that just so happen to be my favorites. Okay, so none of it goes in said 2004 scrapbook, but this just further proves why I'm so "behind" on scrapping...I usually just grab a picture that gives me some sort of creative jumping-off point and go from there. Therefore, this is all from 2008-2009!!! Enjoy!

A mini-book for Sarah and Steven (it holds wallet sized photos) made using some left-over wrapping paper from one of her bridal showers:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBr0Sif_I/AAAAAAAABts/s0C7kC5k_7c/s400/100_4077.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364633433410797554" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBsIRmYvI/AAAAAAAABt0/WSVrQS12dCc/s400/100_4078.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364633438775567090" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBsR2HKSI/AAAAAAAABt8/07elJ_kLYZE/s400/100_4079.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364633441344629026" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 245px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBs4uT1LI/AAAAAAAABuE/IpUqp036NBE/s400/100_4080.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364633451780887730" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 393px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBtCnOrDI/AAAAAAAABuM/PV5QmUGurF4/s400/100_4081.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364633454435544114" />

These pictures are from Caleb's last flag football game last Fall. I loved the pictures I took of the boys picking berries at the Jett's farm and of the berry tartlets I made from our bounty...they were just BEGGING to be scrapped! They are my absolute favorites right now! (Probably helps that I could play up the colors and add some more feminine touches to these pages...LOL) I put a lot of detail into these pages, so I'm also including some close-ups with descriptions for my scrappy friends to see...

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 380px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBQ4znmoI/AAAAAAAABtM/Ab-sJdv46QY/s400/100_4084.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364632970766817922" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 375px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMBQfOfXgI/AAAAAAAABtE/P0c5ir5ZV80/s400/100_4085.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364632963900202498" />

Okay, here are the details...be warned, I'm attempting to go "Scrapbook Geek" on you and throw out some techniques and product names...

On "Together", I used Bohemia blank chipboard numbers that I inked up with brown, copper and white to make it look like old leather and then added a little sparkle with Stickles. I also included a quote written on kraft paper, but I'm a little disappointed that it didn't turn out like I had hoped. I stamped it first using the "Champ" stamp from Stampin' Up!'s "Sporting" set using VersaMark ink and then crumpled it before writing the quote on it. If I squint my eyes and tilt my head, I can see the work I put into that tiny piece of paper...(sigh).

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMErWT_iZI/AAAAAAAABuU/cbFg0xiQLsk/s400/100_4093.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364636723898714514" />

On "The Taste of Summer", I used lots of Glossy Accents, Stickles and sewing notions again. Some of my favorite details include the stick pin in the middle of the large flower that has the date on a tiny little tag and the faux blackberries I stamped that are the background for "of" in the title. The stamps are actually supposed to be hydrangeas, but I triple-stamped them with purple, pink and white craft inks to blur the finer details of the stamp and then added Glossy Accents and/or Stickles. Pretty pleased with how that turned out.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMEsATsTaI/AAAAAAAABuk/KRbnXpToAo8/s400/100_4090.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364636735171743138" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 390px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMEr8rRe8I/AAAAAAAABuc/J3-YBxG1CVM/s400/100_4092.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364636734196906946" />

On "So Berry Sweet", I did a lot of distressing, used Glossy Accents on the letters and brads, and even dusted off the sewing machine. Oh, and the bird is a QuicKutz die that I cut from kraft paper and then used aqua and white acrylic paint applied with a crumpled plastic bag. And I know the hummingbird has nothing to do with berries or cooking, but I love it because hummingbirds always remind me of my Grandma so I stuck it on there to make me over-the-top happy! So what if it took me half the day...it makes me smile every time I look at it.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMEsy4RpQI/AAAAAAAABu0/VdqtWVOXDZw/s400/100_4087.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364636748746958082" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SnMEsr2IkvI/AAAAAAAABus/s0T6hqn6p8A/s400/100_4089.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364636746858926834" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-10587069217629195022009-07-27T15:43:00.004-05:002009-07-27T16:41:13.199-05:00Ahhhh...that was nice!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4dPr5zAwI/AAAAAAAABs0/VgWD7PDJZA0/s400/100_4251.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363256361565225730" />
Chris and I really haven't travelled much as a couple. Heck, we didn't even go on a honeymoon (we had to find a place to LIVE!). This summer, I was DETERMINED to take short trip somewhere. I didn't care where or when...just needed to go. Unfortunately, things at Chris' store have been topsy-turvy all summer and he hasn't been able to take a real vacation, but he did manage to switch a few days out with another manager in order to get away this past weekend. So maybe we spent more than I'm usually comfortable with, but we have managed to pay down a lot of debt lately and I considered this a reward, late Father's Day and late Anniversary all rolled into one. We left Friday morning and checked into the Gaylord Texan Resort and Spa. It quickly became evident that we don't do this often enough as I tried to reign in the excitement when we walked in - Cole started jumping around and screaming out everything we encountered - "Mirror!", "Chair!", "TV!". Poor deprived children...we don't have that stuff back at the homestead, I guess. After settling in our room (and by settling I mean pushing every button, opening and closing every door and flushing the toilet repeatedly), we took the boys around to look at everything...the landscaping, the train exhibit, the artists, etc.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 285px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4Y6Ay3-PI/AAAAAAAABr8/Cjq15RUXBpo/s400/100_4254.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363251591169702130" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4Y5zadZdI/AAAAAAAABr0/r38SWDAKvww/s400/100_4253.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363251587577636306" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4Y5vQ-3uI/AAAAAAAABrs/GjOYvD0WQ5Y/s400/100_4252.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363251586464145122" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4Y5Li5zhI/AAAAAAAABrk/jTruuCRXAxY/s400/100_4250.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363251576875634194" />

We changed out of our "driving clothes", had our family picture taken and had dinner at Texan Station (one of the restaurants inside the resort). During dinner, Caleb asked why we didn't have the food delivered to our room...afterall, that's what "fancy" people do. We had a good giggle at that! Afterwards, we enjoyed more strolling artists and then went outside to watch the fireworks show over Lake Grapevine. The Gaylord shuffles all the viewers to the top deck of the parking garage and had a DJ there playing music that was synchronized with the show. Pretty nifty.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZmHUxvbI/AAAAAAAABss/YhvkH665btA/s400/26705A2143_%231.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252348836756914" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZaM2UwqI/AAAAAAAABsM/qZdBXyBOG-Q/s400/100_4257.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252144161211042" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZZdbIDxI/AAAAAAAABsE/qy6Y8j3cuFE/s400/100_4256.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252131430666002" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZbMdjf2I/AAAAAAAABsk/iG_RpA9t8Z8/s400/100_4269.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252161237188450" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZarL4g3I/AAAAAAAABsc/nVAgoQWzc5U/s400/100_4266.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252152304698226" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sm4ZaeFlJpI/AAAAAAAABsU/OeQXqjLZACc/s400/100_4264.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363252148788602514" />

We then went back to the room and acted like "fancy" people...yep, we ordered room service. Niiiiice. The report is that the smaller Gann's enjoyed putt-putt golf, go-cart racing, games, Pei Wei, and some time at the lake with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Steven. Since I came back from the retreat in California, I honestly haven't had the desire to do much. Sure, I did a ton of invitations for other people, but my own scrapping has been minimal. Sad. I really need to do more, because the boys have really started to show an interest in pulling the scrapbooks down and look at all of the pages in them...

Here are a few cards (front and inside; matching envelope) I've made recently that I really, really like...

A birthday card for Nancy:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 219px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SlOHZmZ1hEI/AAAAAAAABps/2oB5eQZdYwA/s400/100_4056.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355773255749043266" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 180px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SlOHZ5DCKlI/AAAAAAAABp0/cT29t-K_ztw/s400/100_4057.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355773260753676882" />

A new baby card for Beverly:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 270px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SlOHaGKyRQI/AAAAAAAABp8/dK9xuzMg3qk/s400/100_4058.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355773264275850498" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 228px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SlOHas0PVFI/AAAAAAAABqE/0X3uzvG8rh0/s400/100_4059.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355773274650268754" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-20458181398852936602009-07-02T09:46:00.008-05:002009-07-02T10:29:55.549-05:00Date Night with 2 Hot Boys!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPYIjbdaI/AAAAAAAABpk/Ao6BLxKr09I/s400/100_4008.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353882070556571042" />
Okay, so it's not what you're thinking...but that's about as exciting as my life gets these days, so let me live it up a little! ;) The two boys were my kids, it was pretty dang HOT outside, and we called it a "date" since their daddy was stuck at work (again). Anyway, Heather is a friend of mine from high school. She is married to Josh, who happens to be a Texas singer/songwriter. Imagine my surprise when I got the Friendswood newsletter back in May and saw JOSH WARD listed as part of the Summer Concert in the Park lineup! I've wanted to see his band perform for a while now, but never had a chance to catch one of his concerts. This was perfect for several reasons...

(1) it was right down the road,
(2) it was free,
(3) I could take my kids & not look like an unfit momma (since it wasn't in a bar),
(4) we could take our own food/drinks, and
(5) did I mention it was FREE?

So, we loaded up our sunglasses, snacks, bug spray and water/juice and jumped in the truck. (Caleb was decked out in the most fashionable concert-watching attire...camo shorts, cowboy boots and my crumpled "cowboy" hat that I wear to the lake/river...unfortunately, I don't think I got a picture of that get-up.) Even though the band was stuck singing for the first half of the show with the hot Texas sun blaring in their face, they put on one heck of a show! I'm definitely a fan! Caleb took over the photography duties and actually did a pretty good job! Afterwards, we stayed and chatted for a few minutes with Heather and Josh and he gave each of the boys their own official JOSH WARD BAND t-shirts. Caleb talked for days about how excited he was that "a real cowboy singer gave him a shirt!"

Those boys make a pretty good date.

Enjoy Caleb's pictures and scroll down below for a couple of link's to JOSH WARD BAND. If you like country or Texas music, you won't be sorry!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 268px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPJkY0rBI/AAAAAAAABpc/5RUegUCtdW0/s400/100_4009.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353881820330241042" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPJJeH0fI/AAAAAAAABpU/EhpTi2Avi_I/s400/100_4002.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353881813104710130" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPIqr4hlI/AAAAAAAABpM/KCMMqRmJdUg/s400/100_3998.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353881804840928850" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPIS3KQFI/AAAAAAAABpE/hKP6S8RwPvw/s400/100_3996.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353881798445776978" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzPH3dUFgI/AAAAAAAABo8/8jmih6p6OuA/s400/100_3992.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353881791089612290" />

Links to Josh Ward Band...
http://www.reverbnation.com/joshwardband
http://www.lonestarmusic.com/artists.asp?id=1359
http://lttnews.blogspot.com/
or be his "fan" on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Josh-Ward-Band/44845622900Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-10881306847918992532009-07-02T09:31:00.003-05:002009-07-02T09:43:56.544-05:00Cole's 3rd Birthday<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzG5iapThI/AAAAAAAABoU/AtAXGda-FNg/s400/100_3977.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353872748830084626" />

...with my belated posting...

Chris has had some drama going on at work lately and working some major overtime (I guess as a favor, because he's not getting paid anything extra for it), so we didn't have any time to schedule a big ta-doo for Cole's birthday. Instead, we had a low-key Mickey Mouse celebration at Nana & Pop's house with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Steven added to the mix. Turns out cupcakes, Mickey Mouse ears, some "hot diggity dogs" and a splash in the kiddie pool with your favorite relatives is all a three year old really needs. Still can't believe my little character is three already...

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzG50AfieI/AAAAAAAABoc/44x_ttgr3Nk/s400/100_3971.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353872753552230882" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzG6fJc4VI/AAAAAAAABok/VbEq_B8uOSE/s400/100_3950.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353872765132530002" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzG6if4A5I/AAAAAAAABos/iVp23n7KTn4/s400/100_3975.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353872766031889298" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SkzG7CZ8G3I/AAAAAAAABo0/26lhmD8AAW8/s400/100_3978.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353872774596926322" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-77258392463658299342009-06-19T11:08:00.006-05:002009-06-19T12:09:51.460-05:00So Berry Sweet!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SjvBtzwBoUI/AAAAAAAABnk/JN57UOgCXJk/s400/100_3990.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349081975162511682" />
Sorry for the gag-inducing, cheesy title. Anyway. I'm not a "food blogger" or a "recipe guru", nor do I pretend to be. But, every once in a while, I get inspired to try something new in the kitchen and it turns out so yummy that I feel the need to share it with all (three) of you.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SjvBvF7rkNI/AAAAAAAABn8/1IdgEUDOMIk/s400/100_3941.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349081997223104722" />

Last weekend, we took a field trip over to The Jett's Berry Farm (I don't think they have an official name for it, but they do have berries...and it's farm-like...and, according to Cole, they raise "Patty's" - that would be basset hounds). Cole picked seven berries, Caleb managed to pick a whole basket, and Pop stepped up to be Tour Guide for the boys while Mom and I finished picking the rest of our over-25-pound prize. It was so easy to pick them, I don't know if I will ever pick blackberries anywhere else. Y'all, I ended up taking home two huge freezer bags full of blackberry delicious-ness and still have many, MANY more left. The Rains' (that would be Sarah and Steven, but I love saying their new collective name now) also took home two bags worth and we left three bags at home for Mom and Ben. Can I just say - I. LOVE. BLACKBERRIES. Now, everyone knows that besides eating them fresh with a touch of sugar or cream (which I've had a few times this week), the best way to eat them is in a cobbler. Any other time, that's what I would have made (usually because the picking yielded so few berries that I wouldn't want to waste them - just in case a different recipe might be disastrous). But, since our crop came from Blackberry Utopia, I have soooo many berries! I decided to search for a few new recipes to experiment with. Okay, I know....I know. Shut up already and give us the friggin' recipe, Kristi. I should mention this came from the Southern Living 1999 Annual Recipes cookbook (thanks, Mom) and that I'm a sucker for tiny, cute, individualized treats. And one more word. YUM. Okay, okay...the recipe...

BLACKBERRY SUPREMES

1 (15-ounce) package refrigerated piecrusts
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 pint fresh blackberries
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
Powdered sugar (optional)

*Unfold piecrusts on a lightly floured surface. You could easily make your own (cheaper, too), but this was quicker and my loving husband was nice enough to pick it up for me on his way out the door at work. ;)
- I doubled this recipe since I took it to a BBQ.
- Don't forget to prick the bottom of the pie crusts before baking. If you look closely at my picture, I forgot to do this. Not a terrible mistake, but the centers did bubble up a little.
- I might use more berries with the same amount of water/sugar/cornstarch...just because I like the berries more than the syrupy stuff and it kinda got messy.
- I had leftover cream cheese mixture and some of the syrup from the cooked berry mixture. I also have one more piecrust, so I fully intend on adding more berries to the leftover syrup and making a few more....after I swim several hundred laps or run a few miles in the Texas heat. Or not.
- I recommend using a mixer (I used my stand mixer with the whisk attachment) for the cream cheese mixture - it makes a more consistent texture and easier to use for piping.
- Yeah, for piping, I used my Pampered Chef Easy Accent Decorator tool (again, thanks Mom)
- I think these look pretty without the cream cheese mixture, too, but who wants to skip the cream cheese?
- Skipped adding the extra powdered sugar on top and just used whole blackberries to garnish the platter. Mint leaves or some other green garnish would be nice, too, if you're entertaining.
- I used frozen whole berries per Mrs. Jett's freezing method (wash, pat dry, freeze in single layer on baking sheet and then transfer to freezer bags).
- Considering making a slightly larger tartlet in standard size muffin pan, too, but that would require utensils to eat...but still super cute.
- I'm not telling how many of these I ate, but I will tell you that I am convincing myself that the fiber and super antioxidant power of the blackberries far outweighs the fat content of the piecrusts and cream cheese topper. Not to mention the sugar.Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-85964722576484158572009-06-15T11:28:00.003-05:002009-06-15T11:36:32.938-05:00Goodbye, my friend...<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SjZ27WsYADI/AAAAAAAABnc/QEtUUomBZIs/s400/cassieboys" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5347592369625104434" />
"Cassie"
Gann's Casandra Lee
AKA Cass, Cassarole, Big Girl, Mama, Mamacita
8/16/01 - 6/11/09
Thank you for being our friend, Big Girl. (There must be a low spot in the floor there...it never traveled any further) I came home from work today and quickly changed my mind. The mildew-ing smell is revolting already. I'm pausing for a second before I attempt to finish unloading this room. Just waiting for Chris to get home and then I have big plans for a carpet ripping party - part 2. I'm not telling him until he walks in the door...otherwise he might decide to work late. Can I tell you how much there is to unload? Two desks....one with all of the computer stuff (I think I'll leave all of the detangling fun for Chris) and the other where I sit and craft. Not to mention the million little packages/bottles/jars/treasure chests full of crafty goodness. Oh...and all of my paper storage cubes. Yay. Still no word from our insurance adjuster.

The positive note I will leave for today is the concrete floor in my bedroom will probably leave me with some excellently exfoliated feet! I'm really reaching for that silver lining today.Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-3983450620414505062009-04-18T22:46:00.002-05:002009-04-18T23:01:06.425-05:00Update from Team Clean-upOkay, guys. It has been a rough day to say the least. Fastest rain I think I've ever seen in my life. It's still lightly raining off and on, but the water is now away from my house, thankfully. In it's climax, the storm brought 2 inches in less than 12 minutes and over 15 inches total in the Friendswood area. And that's just what the news said. The Reynolds blood in me says that it was at least twice that amount at my house. I was so busy cleaning it all up that I *may* have forgotten to feed my kids for an extended period of time. All kidding aside, it was very scary. I did, indeed, kill our little shop-vac. I probably overworked it, but managed to get around 30 gallons of water out of my house before it died. Our neighbor, Mike, was outside in the rain digging a trench between our houses and I really think that helped tremendously. All of our rooms across the back of the house were subjected to the rain waters today. <sigh> I've gone from too-busy-to-be-emotional, to overly-frustrated to borderline-hysterical over it now. Chris (who was supposed to be enjoying a "de-stress yourself" weekend with his dad and brother) is now on his way home. Calls to our insurance have been made. I'm dirty and exhausted. Will update soon...Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-69634651309205743372009-04-18T16:44:00.001-05:002009-04-18T23:01:33.779-05:00rain,rain go awaySo it has been raining really hard today. There is water in my house and a leak in my roof. Oh. And I just burned up the motor in the wet/dry vac. Did I mention Chris is out of town this weekend? Hopefully this works as I am posting from my phone. Pray that our water damage is not too bad.Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04009918086290748364noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-42199711605225487162009-04-10T11:16:00.005-05:002009-04-10T11:31:34.517-05:00Spring Break Field TripSeveral weeks ago (I know, sorry...), we had Spring Break. One of our fun "adventures" - as Caleb calls them - was going to the Houston Livestock Show with Nana. Caleb was so very excited that he sat down and prepared a checklist the night before. He did this ALL BY HIMSELF - spelling and all. And, yes, we took the list with us and he checked them off at the conclusion of the day. Too cute.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 331px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9x2bWkqdI/AAAAAAAABmM/J5_O17N6v1I/s400/rodeo09checklist.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323098464444525010" />
For those of you that have problems reading phonetically, here's the translation:
What I am going to
do with Nana.
I am going to the rodeo.
Ride horse.
Have a war.
Pet a chicken.
Milk a cow.
Drink lemonade.

For the record, we did it all. Okay, so it wasn't a REAL cow that he milked, but it worked for check-list purposes. And, yes, he DID pet a chicken...with one finger through the fencing on the coop. Oh, and the war??? Yeah, Nana obliged and had a pretend one back at our house...ah, life with boys. Enjoy the pics.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9zX7NmlxI/AAAAAAAABm0/2uSB5qa2KhU/s400/100_3430.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100139444147986" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9zXsttimI/AAAAAAAABms/KtuUT32Gwus/s400/100_3422.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100135552289378" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9zXXww5hI/AAAAAAAABmk/RuMee9fC5qc/s400/100_3420.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100129927947794" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9zXMYLxxI/AAAAAAAABmc/VjXtcCRoWCQ/s400/100_3418.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100126872061714" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd9zWkS_vZI/AAAAAAAABmU/WnKuezKzLF0/s400/100_3414.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100116112883090" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd90DHjwvlI/AAAAAAAABnU/IOVQL1AjMYg/s400/100_3463.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100881492688466" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd90Cwgnw2I/AAAAAAAABnM/5ALJa_CsoM4/s400/100_3446.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100875305501538" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd90Ci01jyI/AAAAAAAABnE/htofbkHB7WI/s400/100_3445.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100871632195362" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sd90Cb7s_zI/AAAAAAAABm8/QjfB12ldlVI/s400/100_3431.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323100869781946162" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-4912990384960770402009-03-31T16:25:00.002-05:002009-03-31T16:32:50.777-05:00The sweetest gift ever<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 308px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/SdKL83Wx2eI/AAAAAAAABmE/Hhbrp8-T9jE/s400/calebsbirthdaynote.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319467987645880802" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-67940794479090282012009-03-29T15:33:00.002-05:002009-03-29T15:37:24.040-05:00A gift for Sarah...I made this frame for Sarah and Steve and gave it to her at her first Bridal Shower. I was inspired by something I had seen that another scrapbooking friend had made. I really like how this turned out - it measures 9x14 and was truly meant to hold three "floating" 4x6 pictures. Unfortunately, this is the only picture that I remembered to take of it...and it's not the best...you can see my sad craft desk through the glass. Today, I found a few more of the frames and am thinking of making some to sell (maybe I'll finally start an Etsy shop...). So, the question is...would you buy? How much?

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 217px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Sc_b2Ejq9jI/AAAAAAAABl0/-YJa4gP5yB8/s400/100_3397.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318711406930622002" />

PS - Sarah, do you think you could take a better picture for me and email it?Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-48545797913206869862009-03-26T19:30:00.001-05:002009-03-26T19:33:41.099-05:00Can you believe these cuties are MINE???<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 322px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Scwe08K8vvI/AAAAAAAABls/kgVZrUjIMDs/s400/SpringCole09.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317659154871795442" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 321px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Scwe0nhyQ8I/AAAAAAAABlk/Fr0ce4mlT4c/s400/SpringCaleb09.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317659149330432962" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 317px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_n8DF2Bh3HpE/Scwe0CmnxRI/AAAAAAAABlc/hbgtXoHUC6Y/s400/SpringBoys09.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317659139418604818" />Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-1004874887621882282009-03-25T16:07:00.003-05:002009-03-25T16:11:13.931-05:00My life right now...I'm swamped...and the date circled on the calendar next week reminds me that I'm getting old. I apologize to you all (and when I say "you all", I AM talking to all seven of you reading this - Hi, Mom!). My life consists mostly of laundry, work, making my ten-thousandth invitation this year, and shuffling kids to various activities. Let's face it, I'm a working mom and I've been a little busy. I really do have pictures and stories to share...I will get around to them sometime. But, for now, it's time to pick up the children from day care and head out to t-ball practice...given it doesn't start raining.Kristihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13279584846401878913noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5848775414285503065.post-6422164429206708172009-03-25T16:03:00.002-05:002009-03-25T16:06:40.150-05:00A blast from the past...So, the bell for my 4th period Child Development class starts today...students start walking in and then it hit me - I think Sam Washburn is in my class.
